Annual asthma reviews are carried out by the nurses. If you have been advised by the surgery to submit an annual review of your asthma symptoms, please complete our online Asthma Review form.
This clinic is for well babies to have their routine health checks and immunisations. The 8 week baby check plus first baby immunisations are arranged by invitation from the surgery. Our practice nurses will give any further vaccinations when they fall due.

Cardiovascular Risk Assessments
Cardiovascular risk assessments are carried out by our health care assistant..
Cervical Cytology (Smear Tests)
To reduce the risk of cervical cancer, smear tests should be performed every 3 years (unless otherwise indicated by the doctors) between the ages of 25-65. You will be informed by computerized letter that your smear is due. Smears can be done at the surgery by the nurse. Please ensure you book a double appointment for your smear.
Annual COPD reviews are carried out by the nurses. If you have been advised by the surgery to submit a COPD assessment, please complete our online COPD Assessment form.
Free Chlamydia Test
If you are between the ages of 15-25 you can have a free chlamydia test. This is done on a urine sample. The results are confidential and can be sent to your mobile phone. Ask the doctors, advanced nurse practitioners or nurses for the test.
All methods of contraception can be discussed in complete confidence with our nurses or GPs, the best option for you can be arranged. If you have been advised by the surgery to submit a contraceptive pill review, please complete our online Contraceptive Pill Review form.
Counsellors attend the surgery on a variable timetable each week and patients can be referred by a GP.
These clinics are held on a Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon and patients are invited by letter every year to attend for their annual review.
Diabetes Specialist Nurse
Our diabetic specialist nurse attends the surgery the first Tuesday morning of each month and runs a specialist clinic.
A drug clinic is held by our doctors and the community drug team (CDT) on Wednesdays.

- The nurse also runs a variety of clinics Monday-Friday 08:30-15:30
Private Non-NHS Work
Medical Examinations (Non-NHS)
Certain services provided by the doctors are not covered by the NHS and fees are payable for such items as:
- HGV and PSV licences
- Elderly driver licences
- Pre-employment medicals
- Private certificates
- Holiday vaccinations
- Insurance claims
- Fitness for sports
If you would like to request a medical report, please complete our online Medical Report Request form. Charges are payable at the time of attendance, and the BMA recommended scale of fees is on display at the reception desk. A current list of fees is displayed in our waiting area. It you have any queries regarding these, please enquire at reception.
Self-certificates are available from your employer for sickness of up to one week. Any certificate required from the doctor for periods up to the first week can only be provided as a private certificate for which there is a charge.
Patients, who are not NHS registered at this surgery, can be seen privately. Please contact the practice manager regarding fees.
Minor surgical procedures are performed by Dr Wong on a Tuesday afternoon. These appointments are arranged via Dr Wong.
Advice and nicotine replacement therapy is provided by our healthcare assistant.

Advice on immunisation and precautions needed for foreign travel are available from the nurse.
If you are travelling abroad, please complete our online Travel Risk Assessment form.
Certificates for confirmation of vaccination for visa purposes are not on the NHS and a charge will be made.
Please try and see us well before you travel, ideally 4-6 weeks and try not to leave vaccinations to the last minute. It is essential you have adequate medical insurance, and if visiting an EEC country you will need an EHIC (European Health Insurance Card).
